Greg Hall is double majoring in music composition and guitar performance
at Westfield State College. Prior to enrolling at Westfield State, Greg studied with Tom Kopyto for 7 years.Greg has been writing songs since he started playing guitar and has made a name for himself as a
live musician, whether headlining solo acoustic shows at local bars and restaurants or performing regularly with his band, "Greg Hall & Dogs of War."
"I truly believe in a creative approach to
learning, because fundamentally, that's what being a musician is all about. My approach with students is is to keep them open-minded, and encourage them to find their unique voice whether they've just picked
up a guitar, or have played for years."
Greg specializes in acoustic guitar including steel string fingerstyle and beginner classical. He also teaches electric bass guitar and beginner
electric rock guitar.
